Survey About the ‘Emigrant Dutch language’

Vertrokken Nederlands is a research group conducting a survey about the ‘Emigrant Dutch language’.

This survey is intended for all emigrated Dutch and Flemish people, and for everyone descending from Dutch or Flemish emigrants. The purpose of the survey is to map: 
• where native speakers of Dutch live around the world;
• which dialect or regional language of the Netherlands or Flanders is spoken;
• in which situations they turn to their native language;
• if the mother tongue is passed on to the next generation. 


The entire survey will of course only be used for research purposes and will stay anonymous. Just a couple of minutes of your time would mean a lot for their research.
